The Otto Backpack is a great lightweight, pretty compact day backpack. The leather details, the classic buckle and the brass details give it a very timeless look. Under the flap, the main compartment opens with a drawstring. It has a padded 13" laptop compartment and a small "secret" anti-theft pocket on the back.

• WAXED COTTON CANVAS FABRIC: 
• We use a very special "dry" wax canvas. Waxed canvas was originally invented to make cotton canvas stronger and more water-resistant. But the wax layer on top of the fabric can often feel a bit "muddy" (especially in warm weather). Our waxed canvas is "dry", which means that the wax is completely absorbed by the fabric and cannot stain your clothes. Over time the fabric will develop a certain patina (similar as denim or leather would do) The fabric is water-resistant. The better it is waxed the more water-resistant it is. You can re-wax the backpack after a while (even with heavy use this is often only necessary after 2 years)

• MILITARY GRADE NYLON:
• The MILITARY BLACK version is made from ultra-sturdy, military-grade nylon. It is very lightweight but still super robust. The satin shine gives the backpack a more elegant look. The nylon will look the same over time. No maintenance needed

• QUALITY:
• The waxed canvas is a very sturdy fabric that will last a long time. All Property Of... items are built to last. Each product comes with a standard 3-year warranty, in line with our "buy less, buy better" philosophy.
