The Bobby is the Bob’s smaller brother: the same super-lightweight backpack that folds into its own pouch and lives in your luggage — unfolding into 12 litres the moment you land.
The pouch becomes a travel pouch on its own: wristband on, cables and chargers in — or take it to your airplane seat with everything you need for the flight.
The fabric is rainproof, woven from recycled PET bottles, with a wax finish — the light stripes you see are the wax developing its patina, not damage. Front zip pocket, a secret pocket on the back, a bottle compartment, padded shoulder straps. A trick from a customer who lived out of it for three weeks in Japan: strap your jacket under the front buckle and free up the space inside.
One honest note: the back panel is not padded — that’s what makes it foldable. For heavy everyday loads pick one of its padded brothers; for travel it’s exactly right. Your name goes on the ID tag, worldwide Lost&Found service included.

PRODUCTION
Where are the bags made?
We design all our products in our studio in Amsterdam. Our fabrics are custom made by a leading fabric mill in Taiwan. The production is done by two smaller, family run factories in Vietnam. All our factories are certified and we visit them at least once per year.
How long is the warranty?
For all Property Of... items we give life-time warranty on all production mistakes. Wear&Tear is not covered by the warranty.
Are the bags sustainable?
This is actually a very complex question. We put a lot of time & effort in making our bags as sustainable as possible.
Here are some of the things we do to make our collection more sustainable:
- All our fabrics are 100% made from recycled PET
- We give life-time warranty
- We have a great repair service
- We have no over-production
- We have close relationships with our factories
SHIPPING & RETURN
How do we ship?
For deliveries within the EU we use DPD. For shipments outside the EU we use FedEx.
Can I return my order?
Of course you can. Just send us an email to webstore@thepropertyof.com and we will send you a shipping return label.
Returns within the EU are free. Returns from outside the EU we charge a 9€ return fee.
