BANGKOK
Bangkok is so much fun. The food, the people, the energy. Some people think it is a bit too much. We think it is pure life : )
China Town
WHERE TO STAY?
Bangkok is a huge lively city with plenty of good hotels and nice neigborhoods. One street we really avoid is Khao San Road. It is messy and super touristy. We normally stay either along Silom Road, which is nicely set between the river and the night markets or somewhere along Sukhumvit Road.
GO HERE,
YOU'LL THANK US LATER : )
These are some of the best spots in Bangkok. Amazing food, great drinks and roof top bars.
SKY BEACH BANGKOK
The Standard now has a rooftop bar called Sky Beach Bangkok on the 78th floor of the iconic King Power Mahanakhon, making it the highest roof top bar in the city. Before 7 pm, guests must buy a ticket at the King Power Mahanakhon ticket center for THB 880 per person. After 7 pm, a THB 500 cover charge applies, which can be used as credit for menu items.

THINGS TO DO
Here are our favourite things to do in Bangkok off the beaten track.
VISIT THE ARTIST HOUSE
Add the Artist's House, also known as Baan Silapin and Klong Bang Luang, to your travel itinerary. This 200-year-old house located along the canal is a haven for creativity. Enjoy drinks, food, and a traditional Thai puppet show with locals and few tourists. Tucked away in Thonburi, Bangkok's old capital, the Artist's House can be found behind winding streets, indicated by a few signs along the way.
The closest BTS Skytrain Station to the Artist’s House is Bang Wa. From there, you can either walk about 20 minutes or get a motorbike taxi.
TALAD ROT FAI SRINAKARIN (TRAIN NIGHT MARKET)
Discover Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin, also known as Train Market, a vast open-air night market in Bangkok. Despite its distance from central Bangkok, it's a hidden gem worth exploring. Escape the city's hustle and bustle, indulge in shopping, and savor delicious food in this unique and vibrant market.
The best way to get to Srinakarin Night Market is by taking the BTS to On Nut BTS Station and taking a taxi from there.
